Aquí hay tips para ayudar a nuestros hijos a estar saludables manteniendo una vida activa:
- Mantener una comida balanceada tres veces al dia y evitar snacks. Esto es muy importante para el creciemiento, para mantener un peso saludable y para evitar enfermedades crónicas en un futuro.
- Los niños suelen saltear comidas, o comer comida chatarra durante las comidas. Denles de comer sano y asegurense de que los alimentos sean ricos en nutrientes.
- Los padres deben evitar la compra de snacks o comida chatarra. Mas bien, en la heladrea tiene que haber frutas, verduras y alimentos integrales.
- Limitar la ingesta de gaseosas, jugos ricos en calorias. Para mantenerlos hidratados deben darle abundante agua cada vez que ellos lo necesiten.
- En caso que la familia se vaya de vacaciones, los planes se deben regir mas en hacer actividad física que en relajarse. Por ejemplo, una buena idea es ir a nadar, andar a caballo o bicicleta. Esto los divierte y mantiene activos.
- Organice juegos en el parque o jardín de su casa.
- Lleve a sus hijos a nadar. El agua los ayuda a estar en movimientos y además los ayuda con otros aspectos de la salud.
- Aconseje a sus hijos a que participen en campamentos, torneos de natación o futbol.
- Reduzca los tiempos frente al televisor. Lo recomendable es que los niños miren televisión una o dos horas al día, al igual que el uso de computadoras u otros dispositivos.
